Brian Speaker is a resident producer/engineer at the Newtown Recorders, located in East Williamsburg, Brooklyn. 

Booking Policy


Offering competitive rates for projects of all shapes and sizes. Please contact for all booking inquiries. 

Arrival and Load Out

All session bookings begin at confirmed appointment time. A 50%, (refundable up to 72 hours prior to booking), deposit is due 3 weeks prior to all full day bookings. Full days are 10 hours. Hourly rates apply to anything beyond a 10 hour booking. If you are a band tracking with drums, it is recommended that you arrive 2 hours after confirmed session time to allow the tuning, setup and layout of drums, placement for amps, microphones and headphone systems. If the drummer is bringing their own kit, drummer should arrive first thing for load in.

Media Storage

Please bring a hard drive and allow time at the end of your session to back up all data. Brian Speaker and SpeakerSonic Productions are not responsible for long term or short term storage of projects.
